Sacramento A+ Certification Computer Training Objective
To prepare the student for Sacramento technical support careers and IT networking careers. MTI's computer technology education includes courses in end-user application work, computer operations, technical support education, or a related computer field. This computer technology training program is designed to help students prepare for the CompTIA A+ Computer Technician Certification Exams. Certification vouchers are provided at no additional charge to students who meet requirements of MTI's Test Pass Assurance (TPA) program.
Students who successfully complete this computer training program are eligible to be considered for advancement to Year Two of the Microsoft Network Administration Training Program for MCITP degree with the addition of M130A and M130B, Mathematics Concepts, and GE200, English Composition.
Sacramento Technical Support Career Description
Computer Operators and Technicians are responsible for maintaining an organization's computer system. They monitor the activities of all the users on the system, as well as ensuring the operation of all peripheral devices. Technicians typically maintain, troubleshoot, and install microcomputer hardware components and software. They can work at corporations, non-profit organizations, the government sector or even start a small business on their own.
Technical Support Training Requirements
After completing IT networking and computer technology school, the Computer Operator/Technician will have knowledge of microcomputer hardware and operating systems, keyboarding skills, and the ability to use various computer applications. Sacramento computer technology courses at MTI also teach the student how to maintain, troubleshoot, and install microcomputer hardware components and software.
