About the Program
Computer Operators and Technicians are responsible for maintaining
an organization's computer system. They monitor the activities of all the users
on the system, as well as ensuring the operation of all peripheral devices. Technicians
typically maintain, troubleshoot, and install microcomputer hardware components
and software. They can work at corporations, non-profit organizations, the government
sector or even start a small business on their own.
