Cosmetology Program Overview
The Cosmetology program features design, cutting, coloring, multicultural techniques, makeup, fashion trends, and the art of hairdressing in a three-phase program we call CORE, ADAPTIVE, and CREATIVE.

In CORE, you’ll learn the basics that will let you confidently begin working with guests. ADAPTIVE builds on the first phase and adds time management, professional service and retailing skills, and the art of successful communication. The final phase, CREATIVE, takes you through advanced hairdressing and chemical work.

Cosmetology: A Growing Industry
A multitude of exciting career choices await the professional cosmetologist. You can design high-fashion hair for the runway, become a celebrity stylist, or work in print photography, television, opera, theater, ballet, or film. As your career progresses, you can become a platform artist, salon or spa manager or owner, educator, manufacturing consultant or artistic director, or retail specialist. In addition to hair design, the industry offers opportunities in skin care, makeup, aromatherapy, nail artistry, and sales and marketing. With an exceptional educational foundation, you’ll be able to choose from unlimited opportunities.

This certificate program may be completed in approximately 46 weeks.
