MTI College offers a one-year Diploma in Business
Administration as well as the following two-year Associate Degree
(A.A.S.).
Business Training Course Description
The Business Administration Degree program provides the graduate
with business training in general administrative skills as well as
a diversified background in business management principles.
The business training program is comprised of two parts. The first
year concentrates on general knowledge and computer skills. It also
provides the foundation for a chosen emphasis that will enhance the
student's skills in business administration.
The second year introduces the specific business administrative course
that are the core of the degree. Before attempting the second year,
students must successfully complete the first year requirements.
Applicants must take an entrance examination and participate in an
interview with an Admissions Officer in order to be considered for
acceptance into the Business Administration Degree
program. The business training program begins several times during
the year. Actual dates for registration will be provided by your admissions
officer. Students who successfully complete the graduation requirements
for the Business Administration program will be awarded an
Associate of Applied Science Degree in Business Administration.
Professional placement assistance is available to graduates. Our past
experience has shown that individuals without prior business administrative
employment experience commonly obtain entry-level positions in the
field. Individuals with experience are more likely to be considered

General Information
MTI's Business Administration course teaches students how to perform
a variety of tasks associated with the administration of business
entities. In particular, business training graduates will be familiar
with the basic concepts of human resource and business management,
marketing, finance and accounting, and the legal environment of

Employment Trends:
The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts an increase of approximately
400,000 jobs by the year 2005. These positions are generated each
year as experienced workers transfer to other occupations or leave
the labor market. In addition, as companies continue to downsize,
there is an increasing need for administrative assistants to handle
complex assignments that were previously handled by middle management.
