Admissions personnel are experienced in recommending the proper training needed
to prepare individuals for careers in healthcare, accounting, business, computer
technology, cosmetology, medical assisting, and law. The admissions office at MTI
College is well informed about general job requirements in the Sacramento area in
order to more effectively advise prospective MTI students on their future career
possibilities.
Individual backgrounds, experience levels, aptitudes, and interests vary widely
from person to person. Our programs are designed to meet all these individual qualities.
For example, we offer three different medical assisting career programs in order
to appeal to a broader range of individuals. For this reason, it is very important
that you obtain our recommendation regarding your potential for the career field
you want to enter. The Admissions office can also help you determine the type of
training you need to qualify for the career you would like to enter into, before
making your decision about to which program of MTI's you should apply.
For admission to MTI College, applicants must –
- Interview with an admissions advisor
- Provide proof of graduation from high school or GED equivalent
- Complete an application for admission
- Pass an admissions examination.
Admission qualification is determined on an individual basis.
International students will be accepted as meeting the English language admissions
requirement when they present documentation of, at minimum, an ELS Language Center
level of 107.
